Wine, Beverage, product, portrait - whatever you shoot, we have a blank slate for you to create
I've had a studio since 2015. I've had a lot of them since. Most studios were chosen based on rent, which in Napa limits options (understatement.) I've had 1000sf studios, 500sf studios, 10ft wide studios, a nice 700sf square, tall ceilings, 10ft ceilings, my own bathroom, a shared bathroom, a bar sink, a kitchen sink and only a bathroom sink. Each one of those represents serious challenges - the lights can only go so high, they can only go so far away, washing a wine glass in a bathroom sink = breakage, little room to prep and stage, little room for clients to be on set, let alone any crew members. When you can only afford so much square footage, you deal.
I didn't want our studio clients here at Mood Board Studios to deal. I designed this studio with all of us in mind - large, open shooting space, room for clients, crew and talent, a sink to wash wine glasses in, a kitchen to prep food and store cheese boards, meeting space to talk through the creative, enough room for the props to be on display and extremely organized, tech to make lives easier (tether to the 75" TV!), carts and gear galore so our clients don't need to haul stands and boxes and modifiers.
As a product photographer primarily in the wine space, those details are ever-present in the studio. We have tons of wine glasses in all different shapes and sizes. We have wine glass and decanter-specific cleansers with a wine glass-specific drying rack. GooGone is on the tether cart. Microfiber cloths are at your fingertips. Plastic knives, eye droppers and syringes are in the studio kit.
That level of attention to detail extends far beyond wine photography. All those tools to help produce a successful wine brand shoot can be leveraged for other beverages, products, and even people. We have an array of gear and equipment to get the job done, all perfectly organized and labeled so you're not on the hunt for very long. The more you shoot here, the more you'll know where things are and the smoother each shoot will be too! We invite you to take a tour (and get $50 off your first booking) and envision your next photo/video/content shoot or meeting here.
