The client agrees to leave the space (including but not limited to bathrooms, coffee station, seamless paper, plants, grip, gear, equipment, conference room, lobby, hot desk room furniture) in the same condition as they were when the client arrived. Premises must be returned in the condition they were rented.
Studio hours are 8am-8pm. Rental time begins promptly at the starting time in the booking and ends promptly at the ending time in the booking, regardless if Client and/or Client's staff is late. Overtime: $200/hour. After Hours (between 8pm-8am): $300/hour. Office hours are by appointment only, M-F, 9-5p.
Client agrees to only occupy the space during their paid reservation time. If Client uses more time or is found in the space longer then booked, Client agrees to pay for that time. Overtime: $200/hour. After Hours (between 8pm-8am): $300/hour.
Setup and strike (load/unload) and cleaning time takes place during your rental time.
All renters agree NOT to sublet their time to another person without permission from Mood Board Studios. The space is rented to approved individuals only.
All catering, crew, and any other subcontractors, vendors or outside support staff are the responsibility of the Client. Any damages or excessive messes made on or to the premises and/or items included in the rental (Exhibit B) by any subcontractors, vendors or inside/outside support staff are the responsibility of the Client and the Client will be charged for any and all damages and cleaning fees.
All renters agree to stay in the Studio at all times and not leave their crew or equipment alone for any reason.
Client is responsible for all individuals on set.
Be respectful of our awesome neighbors. No super loud music.
Parking: park inside the gated area, within lined parking spaces.
No vehicles in building.
To unload easily, back up to yellow tape and unload into studio.
Do not open manual/north side/Suite C side/near props) rollup door
If any prop damage or breakage occurs, notify the onsite studio manager, onsite employee or owner immediately.
If anything breaks or malfunctions, notify the onsite studio manager, onsite employee or owner immediately.
Limited open flames: table candles ok. Extinguish immediately when done.
Fire extinguishers are on the studio walls
Keep studio-to-office door closed at all times.
All minors must have adult supervision at all times.
Client agrees NOT to use nails, pins or tacks on the studio walls, movable walls, kitchen walls, bathroom walls or on any backdrops so as not to damage any surfaces. Use clamps, blue painter's tape, command strips or putty.
The client must remove larger items, such as personal props and set pieces, from the premises.
All items brought to the premises by the client are to be removed by the client. Items left after 7 days will be assumed abandoned and may be discarded or kept by Mood Board Studios for Company use, with no compensation due to the client, at the discretion of Mood Board Studios.
ALWAYS use the studio's power cords provided - NO outside extension cords.
Mood Board Studios staff shall have the right to inspect the equipment and/or studio at any time during the rental term. You shall make any and all arrangements necessary to permit an employee of Mood Board Studios access to the equipment and/or studio. If a breach of any of the provisions of the Rental Agreement occurs, Mood Board Studios has the right to revoke your access to the equipment and/or studio without any liability to you, and without prejudice to Mood Board Studios.
We use security cameras in the space to ensure these rules are being followed. Camera contents are never broadcast, shared, or used in any other way than to provide risk management for Mood Board Studios’ assets, employees, and customers. Your privacy is just as important to us as your safety and Mood Board Studios agrees to this promise of privacy. You and any associates that are with you as the “Client” are hereby notified of these security systems. Tampering or in any way manipulating security system equipment may result in criminal charges.
CLEANING
The client agrees to leave the space (bathrooms, coffee station, seamless paper, plants, grip, gear, equipment, conference room, hot desk room and furniture in the same condition as they were when the client arrived. Premises must be returned in the condition they were rented.
Wipe up and sweep up all messes.
All trash must be removed from the premises. Disposal of large amounts of trash due to large sets may also accrue additional costs.
Perishables must be removed from refrigerator and premises.
Cleaning the cooktop: please use the designated yellow/blue/green microfiber cleaning cloths and cooktop spray found under the kitchen sink.
Put all grip and gear back in its place.
If the client does not return premises to the order and cleanliness specified in this contract and indicated inside the space, Mood Board Studios will charge a minimum $350 cleaning fee. This includes messes created by, spills on furniture and floor, trash on the floor, trash (other than paper towels) in the trash, masks, water bottles, paper cups, confetti, glitter, furniture not put back the way we specify at the space). If Mood Board Studios has to clean anything more than a regular weekly cleaning, the $350 charge will be charged to your credit card on file along with photos/video in an email.
All small and/or hard to clean material (confetti, hair cutting, feathers, food products, body paint, etc.) require approval from company representative. $100 minimum cleaning fee required, additional charges my apply depending on studio condition at wrap.
PROHIBITED
No animals on premises.
No painting on premises (spray, brush or roller).
No smoking or vaping on the premises.
Prohibited: use of illegal substances, alcohol, weapons, and engaging in any activities that are hazardous or disruptive. Adult entertainment and adult content shall not be photographed or filmed on the premises. No fireworks, explosives, color smoke bombs, sparklers. No gas fireplaces. No firepits.
No one will be admitted who is drunk or under the influence of illegal substances.
Limited open flames: table candles ok. Extinguish immediately when done.
KITCHEN
Do not place anything but appropriate cookware on cooktop.
When using the range (cooktop or stove) turn on vent hood.
All hot small appliances must be placed on silicone mats.
Place all hot items on silicone or cork trivets on stainless prep counter or large Husky table and not the countertop. Trivets are under the oven mitts to the left of the range.
Cleaning wine glasses: please use the wine glass cleaner, sponge brush and cloth under the shop sink.
Drying wine glasses: Use silver rack (unfold and set on towel on counter) found under the kitchen sink or hang dry on wall racks above the shop sink.
