Studio Tips & Tricks

EMERGENCY INFORMATION can be found in the Lobby, The Board Room conference room and above the coffee station in the studio.

FIRST AID

• In the green room bathroom
• In the cabinet in the conference room under the TV

LOADING/UNLOADING

• The studio manager will rollup the door for you if you need it.
• To load/unload easily, back up to yellow tape and unload into the studio

LIGHTS

• Prop overhead lights next to Exit door in studio corner (near directors chairs)
• Studio light switches are near the roll up doors
• Hollywood lights in the green room area/bathroom are controlled by the white controller on the cord
• The coffee station undershelf lighting is controlled by a button on the left under the small microwave.
• Task light on post in kitchen - light switch
• Use LED panel lights for task lighting as you prep
• Feel free to turn off or unplug any ambient lights around the studio (e.g., nightlights) except marked lights

WIFI

• Mood Board Studios - Guest wifi
• MoodBoard2024!!

HVAC UNITS IN STUDIO

• Remote is on the wall by the studio sink/studio-side bathroom
• Stand under each unit to turn on/off, change temp, change fan speed, change vent direction and oscillation

ALEXA

• On white cabinet in studio
• Prop Lights: “Alexa - turn on the prop lights”
• Kitchen Lights: “Alexa - turn on the kitchen lights”
• Main Studio Lights: “Alexa - turn on the studio lights”
• Music: SiriusXM is connected e.g. “Alexa - play PopRocks on SiriusXM”

COFFEE & TEA STATION

• Coffee pods are under each machine
• Water is in the fridge door
• Inside cabinet (push cabinet doors in to open)
• Extra coffee and teas are located in the cabinet under the coffee makers/kettle
• GLASSES/DISHWARE/SILVERWARE FOR CLIENT & CREW MEALS: Under the coffee in the cabinet on the left

SONOS MUSIC

• If you have the Sonos app
• Connect to Mood Board Studios - Guest wifi to control the Sonos sound system
• If you do not have the Sonos app
• Use the phone on the white cabinet in studio, open Sonos app, play whatever you’d like
• Use Alexa (signs with commands for SiriusXM) - NOTE: volume can only be controlled using the phone app

PHONE CHARGERS

• On the metal shelf by the coffee station
• Under the white board in The Board Room
• In the Hot Desk office
• In the studio charging station drawer

KITCHEN

• RANGE
• Samsung Bespoke Range with Induction Cooktop, Electric Oven
• Turn on hood when cooking
• Hold “Induction” button to turn on
• Hold small square button to choose burner
• Slide finger on slider to change temp
• Hold “Oven” button to turn on
• Slider = changes oven mode
• Choose mode
• Slider = changes temp
• When done, hold “Start/Stop” button
• FRIDGE
• Left door, front opens for water pitcher and water dispenser
• Ice is in bottom freezer drawer
• Middle drawer is fridge temp
• HOT SMALL APPLIANCES (toaster, toaster oven, air fryer, coffee machine, etc): Each one has a silicone mat. Put on top of a silicone mat on work tables or counter. Silicone mats are on top of the toaster oven
• APRONS: Bottom cubby under small appliances
• LATEX GLOVES: Bottom cubby under small appliances
• ZIPLOC BAGGIES: Bottom cubby under small appliances
• COOKING: Utensils, pots, pans, bowls, and all other cooking tools are in the kitchen

TVs

• All TVs are on wifi if you want to login to any streaming apps!

CLIENT LOUNGE (LOBBY)

• Lights on side tables have switches on the cords
• Keep front door closed with HVAC is on, open if you want fresh air (a little loud!)

OFFICES - NEST THERMOSTAT: Tap right side to change mode, slide finger down right side to change temp

THE BOARD ROOM (Conference Room)

• CREDENZA: If you’re providing meals or coffee/tea service for your meeting, keep clear plastic mat on top of marble
• SUPPLIES: In cabinet under TV
• JUST-IN-CASE HDMI CORD FOR TV: on the right side of TV, plug into your computer
• POWER STRIPS: One in center of tables for laptops, phones; an extra in the cabinet under the TV
• PHONE CHARGERS: Under the white board in The Board Room
